Fantastic Fingerprints!

On Tuesday a policewoman called Sally came in and talked about Fingerprinting and other things that they would use to solve a Crime. Sally said that she worked as somebody who does most of the Fingerprint work. She showed us the 3 types of Fingerprints - The Loop, Whorl and Arch. The loop is the most common out of all three and that our Fingerprints are already formed when you have been in your mother's stomach for 16 months!

Later that day we did a Fingerprint worksheet and we had a sheet of ink. We rolled our Fingerprints on each hand and then tried to figure out what they were out of a Loop, Arch & Whorl.
