Whetu Challenge - Week 10

Whetu Challenge - Paper Planes

Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane. We were given a draft piece of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we had tested the accuracy of it.

Before we started I thought this challenge was going to be a little bit tricky because getting Paper Planes very accurate and nicely made so takes some resilience.

I decided to use the design Javelin as my draft but then it didn't work so I tried the Standard, but then that didn't work! So I decided to do the Paper Plane my Dad taught me to do and it was similar to the Standard but it doesn't use some of the steps in it.

The hardest part was getting the Paper Plane design to work and fly accurately.

During our competition time I managed to score on the runway twice but I never got into the Hangar.

  1. What a cool challenge! Dad was happy to read that you used his design for your plane.
