This week for Chapter Challenge I made Fudge's 3rd birthday invites. When I started it looked really boring so I added in an image of balloons for the background. I had a little fiddle around with the font, size, colour & fill colour. I think I did a good job of making a Supernova! Here are Fudges Birthday Invites.

ANZAC Biscuit Making
Today I made ANZAC Biscuits to have some fun while learning. I had to do lots of measurements to get the exact amount of ingredients in. When we put the mixture on the baking tray it spread out a lot and all of the biscuits stuck together. They were a little bit soft since we had finished baking them so Mum thought that it needed a little bit more flour then what it had in it. When Dad came home he ate one for lunch and had another half afterwards! This is my baking 🠟

Weaving
Today I decided to do some weaving. I thought that just doing a square or circle was pretty simple & wouldn't be a Supernova so I gave my self a challenge by doing a heart. I used ribbon and Lace to weave with. The most challenging part was having to not rip the card. I think I did the task really well and made it a Supernova. this is my weaving.

Chapter Challenge Week 1
This term we started a new book called Tales Of A Fourth Grade Nothing. So far in the book the company that Mr Hatcher worked for called Juice'O's owners came to New York and there was a lot of chaos between that time. This week I chose to do a contest of measuring out how far a paper plane can go. To keep track of what distance they had I named them with popular Airlines - Air New Zealand, Qantas & Jetstar. The reason I did this task was because Fudge - Peter's little brother jumped off the Jungle Gym trying to fly like a bird and found out the Principles of Aerodynamics the hard way... Hit the ground hard and had blood running down his face and had grazes on his legs and arms & scariest of all... He lost his to top front teeth!!!
Here are the results of the distancing...
Air New Zealand - 271 cm / 2.71 m
Qantas - 153 cm / 1.53 m
Jetstar - 247 cm / 2.47 m
Here are what the Planes look like...

Anzac Memorial Scene
Today I made a War Memorial scene for Anzac Day which is 5 days away now. It has the crosses for the soldiers that fought in the war many years ago. I was going to have a green base but since I didn't I had to make it Yellow. The letters in the front stand for the initials Lest We Forget. Here is a picture of my creation.
